Assembled DIY Gear

Hey fellas,

It may seem like an odd question but would you ever consider buying fully assembled and tested DIY gear?

I'm talking the likes of Capi, DIY RE, Hairball Audio, Seventh Circle etc.

Is the appeal for you about saving money? building something yourself? quality audio gear? or maybe a combo of these things? at what price point does assembled DIY gear start to lose its appeal?

Let me know your thoughts.

the main advantage is higher quality, it's not going to be mass manufactured or machine soldered, not only that it's far cheaper and closer to originals with the capi for example they are very close to original api units.
