Any DJ's In Da House?

Hey Yo

My boy is wanting to start a DJ business doing stuff like private partys, weddings, that sort of thing we pretty much have everything we need and I have an old desktop model computer with windows 98 that I was thinking about building a rack for and enclosing the monitor in also uutil he can buy a lap top I was thinking he could do something with Karioke also but we need some lighting and things of that nature
any suggestions on how I can help him get this party started?:cool:
 
Lots of money, and some kind of clue. You're in the right place. Unfortunately, I can't help you with either of those things.

We are total nOObs to the DJ thing I know a lot of DJ's who work in clubs but don't run their own business. I need to know what to charge and the cheapest way to do carioke on a computer.
I know I am going to need lighting and maybe a rack/Truss to hang the lighting FX
(the truss I can make)
