AD suggestions

We run our mix buss out to the masterlink stereo recorder.

I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a 2 channel ad converter that might improve on the quality of our mixes.

i'm not dissapointed in the sound, but i will say that at times, it seems that the soundstage of the mixes closes in a little after burning cd's.
 
So you're wanting to convert to digital before hitting the Masterlink?

You could go with an inexpensive digital mixer if budget is an issue.

Not sure about the comparison of convertors between the two, either.

probably more like a standalone 2ch ad, apogee or similar. something solid that sounds nice and big. i don't know.....

maybe $1000 or under?
