Hi, I'd like to run the audio from a digital trumpet (Yamaha EZ TR) through some effects to make the sounds more interesting. I've read that some trumpet players recommend Digitech Vocal 300 or other vocal effects boxes over guitar boxes. However, they are talking about running sound through a mic to the effects boxes. I'm wondering whether the Digitech 300 would work with direct amped audio from the Yamaha EZ or do they work with mics only. I'd be open to any suggestions about how to get some interesting effects.
