repairing 25pin cable

i have a 25 pin cable that has a pin broken off. what is the easiest way to repair this? do i have to hack the entire end off and replace it?

You will need a pin puller to get the broken one out.

Radioshack should have one. Inorder to get the pins you may have to get the adapter. I dont think radioshack has just tie pins.

Is this a male 25 pin sub-D connector? Also, I'm guessing it's discrete wires, as opposed to ribbon?

it is male, i am assuming descrete. it goes to 1/4" trs on the other end. 8ch snake.

Ok, next thing to figure out is if it's a moulded on connector, or if it has a removable shell.
