how to kill the feedback

is there any good rack system that will kill all the hissing and feedback and all that unwanted crappy noise on my guitar when i krank it up. Im talking i want my rig to be loud as hell but also silent when im not hitting a string. what can i get for it to do that

yeah, a real guitarist is able to control the noise and play into it...

but if you're not playing, i would turn down your volume on the guitar.

I use a pretty hefty rig myself, I try not to rely too much on noise suppression cos it can have a negative impact on picking attack and sustain, turn the distortion down a bit - it will actually sound heavier and tighter if you do.
