Why the scarity of 3/4 drum loops?

Anybody know of a good source for drum/percussion loops in 3/4 time?

I realize that the foundation of pop/rock music is 4/4 time. Nevertheless, there are MANY good songs written in 3/4 or 6/8. So why is it so hard to find drum loops in 3/4 and 6/8?

I've worked with a couple of drum machines and with a LOT of keyboards that have onboard rhythm samples & sequencers, and I find that there are usually only two or three 3/4 time options on any of them. What's more, those options are often polkas or Viennese waltzes instead of something rock-worthy ... or even folk-worthy, for that matter.

Recently I started experimenting with a stripped down version of Steven Slate Drums and have so far found NO 3/4 grooves on it. (Haven't auditioned them all yet, so I may be wrong.)

So what are you guys using for 3/4 time sigs?
