Hey guys, so I am a complete noob when it comes to MIDI devices. I have a MIDI keyboard as well as a simple Mio MIDI interface hooked up to my pc right now. I'm running Sonar X3 as my DAW and have selected the correct MIDI input and outputs. I get a signal and everything, however, everything plays back through my keyboard's speakers instead of my computer speakers. Can someone help me out with this?

If you want to hear the keyboard audio through Sonar you need to patch audio output from the keyboard into your soundcard input, and then select the soundcard audio output in Sonar.
Depending on your soundcard and drivers you may have some latency.
Have you tried using Dimension Pro or one of the other soft synths included with Sonar?
