Hey guys, totally new to MIDI as you can tell already but for some reason I can't get Logic to play more than one note at a time with my Roland R8 drum machine. I've searched the we far and wide along with this forum and the R8 manual to no avail.

Also, it's doesn't seem to play the full range of notes ie, anything above C6, when the R8 manual says that there are sounds there.

I've got a USB MIDI lead connected, with the in in the out and vice-versa. I've also attached a screen shot of my MIDI matrix thing and the inspector window for the instrument.

    Thanks so much!

My old Roland (not an R-8) you have to put the poly notes onto different MIDI channels to have them play at the same time
Digital is only on or off
