I'm afraid I may have posted this question in the wrong forum earlier, hopefully I've found a proper avenue for my question. I would like to sync my DAW (Ableton Live 8), Line 6 HD 500X pedal, and Boss RC-300 looper pedal. I'm under the impressionnthat the RC-300 can't be a slave in the chain, so I've dedicated it to master. I synced it to my HD500 pedal, by using the "global" tempo in its setup menu, and in theory, it behaves. When I check the current tempo setting following a patch change/tempo change on the RC-300, the tempo on the HD is aync'd within .5 of a BPM. However the blinking halo surrounding the tap tempo button on the HD does not match the LED on the looper. I can't seem to aee what I'm doin wrong. I'd also like the DAW to sync up with this signal, can someone clarify a cable routing/method to perform this magic? Thank you in advance, please forgive my ignorance.
