Hello and thank you all in advance. First off im a total noob, mostly use acoustic drums but recently bought an alesis dm pro just to trigger my bass drum, which has worked great, my problem is I have an alesis sample pad (new one) which has four pads and I have two song intros and one pad is just an 808 (boom) sound. Im trying to play the sound from the sample pad thru the alesis dm pro via the midi out on the sample pad to the midi in on the dm pro. When I do this and hit one of the pads on the sample pad, the dm pro plays one of its own sounds and not the sound I programmed to the sample pad.....I've racked my brain trying to remedy this issue but im at the point where id like to just throw em both out the window.....with the window closed. Please help. Thank you...sorry for the long winded post.!
