Hi All;
I'm looking at picking up a Triple Play as it seems like a great piece of gear for demoing various instrumentation during pre-production phases of writing and for writing cues etc, and it got me to thinking....
There's so many VSTs out that have a specific guitar sound.....Telecaster, Les Paul etc... does anyone have any experience in triggering a sampled guitar in a VST from an actual guitar? I'm curious about the possibility of being able to put the pickup on lets say, a strat - but trigger a sampled Tele. Yes its a cheat in theory and yes it would be a quick way of doing things, but in terms of on the fly writing and getting ideas out i'm wondering how well that might work.
Anyone?
