Can't use controller Error failed to open device out A

Hi all

For the last couple of days I can't play anything with my midi controller.
When I open my DAW or stadalone instruments I get the message

midiout - 8 - MIDISPORT 2X2 Out A - Failed to open device 1 (8 - MIDISPORT 2X2 Out A ) 0x000000001



Win 7 64 bit

Need help big time with this one
