Hi,
I just bought Sonarworks Reference 4. I didn't bought the Omnidirectionnal mic that they recommend with because it wasn't in the package deal.
So I did all the calibration with my Audio-Technica AT4041(Cardioid)
So my question is, is there a big difference between MY mic and their mic(XREF 20).
Is any Omnidirectionnal mic will do the same job? (ECM8000, EMM-6)
What is the utility of having an Omnidirectionnal mic in a studio after that?
That's a lot of question but I'm a little bit lost with all that. Thank you!
