I would hate to be the owner of that mic. The diaphragm will be filthy with all the smoke particles that are naturally attracted to the diaphragm.

If you smoke outside and then come into the studio to sing, your lungs are full of smoke particles that will stick to the diaphragm.

Always use a decent pop filter if you are a smoker - preferably one that can be washed easily.
