Sterling Audio ST55

Ok... the dude at guitar center told me that these mics...the sterling audio st-55...were just an exact copy of the the groove tubes gt55...even designed by the dude who designed the gt55. Anyone have an idea on how these things sound. I was about to buy an at3035 for $130 or a b1 for $100, when this dude told me that the st55 was far superior at $199. Any buyers??

nevermind...found the old thread from this site about it...seems like an alright deal...if it does in fact sound just like the gt55.

If you can afford just a little more you can by my GT57(actual groove tubes). PM me if interested, I'm on the good guys list a few times.
