Split Mic to 2 Outputs works like DI

Hello fellows,

Please suggest a gadget for mic that
works like a DI but w/o reduction of
signal. I want to split the Mic's
output into 2. Outputs go to
2 different mixers.

I am doing a simple Live recording
where we use 2 mixers, one for live
use and the other for recording
where the Rec Mix is totally isolated
and unInfluenced by the Live Mix.
I can split the guitars, pianos etc,
using a DI Box, but i got problem
splitting the Mic's.

I need a similar gadget like a DI for
Mic, but should not reduce the signal.
I've seen ART Tube amp but it's too costly.
Submix also is too costly because
i need at least 10 units for 10 mics.
If there's one that's less costly, i am thinking of doing a customised one, but too complex.

Please suggest how to split the Mic by
cost-effective means.

Thanks,

I am not sure if this will fix your problem or not, but whirlwind makes or at least made a box called a splitter. It was black and had green lettering on it. It accepted one XLR connection and outputed either two or three. It works like a charm, although I think that could get costly to do on all your mics. But, it will split one nicely.
