I have a Beta 58 wireless because it doesn't sound like poo and I can afford it. But I don't record with it.

One of the older model Neumann U87's with the battery in it, and one of those wireless units that goes on the end of a mic.:D

Man, I wonder if that would really work? It should. That would be interesting to hear.

I've used LDC's live on stuff and didn't get feedback. Ive seen several bluegrass acts using the Shure KSM mics live. But yeah, that would be funny to see. Wish I could find one of those and try it. :)

Best wireless

Probably my favorite wireless is the Countryman E3 (I prefer headset because I am a guitarist and do a lot of live stuff) on your choice of diversity reciever, but I don't know about using that for recording. For recording, I have most often used a Shure SM58 Beta, like mshilarious, though not wireless.

My 2 cents.....though the mics will cost a bit more than that.

I and I,

I'm not an expert, but from what I've read and done, a best vocal mic depends on the vocalist. Different voices are like different instruments, so there is no one microphone that does it all. Some of the best vocal mics for performance are made by Shure, Audio Technica, Sennheiser and Beyerdynamic. What works best for you might not be best for somebody else.

For recording, some of the best mics might be large diaphragm condenser mics or something similar that would not be desireable on a stage. Also, condenser mics for stage like some Audio Technica stuff might sound good, but they also need phantom power to operate. The mic needs a cable, and the preamp or mixing board needs to be able to supply the phantom power.

Also, I don't think wireless is up to the task of recording yet. Wireless is a bit better than it used to be, but from what I understand, the frequencies you can transmit wireless have less range than what you can get when you use a good quality balanced cable. If you use a Shure Beta 58 wireless, and the same microphone with a cable, there should be a difference in the sound, even though the mic capsules are the same.

The most common advice out there is to try to use or rent different microphones that you think might work well for you, and compare them. A good vocal mic should flatter the sound of the vocalist, sound musical, and fit into a mix well without being too harsh, honky or muddy. If it gets used for recording and stage, you want to look at some kind of cardioid or unidirectional mic so it won't feedback into the monitors. You will have more choices in a studio, even though stage mics can sound good sometimes.

This might seem like a complicated answer to a simple question, but it's the best I can do. There are a lot of people here with way more experience than me that might be able to do better.

I hope some of this helps.

An essay on best vocal mic

To delve deeply into best vocal mic is an exciting adventure. I really, really like best vocal mic . Given that its influence pervades our society, best vocal mic is not given the credit if deserves for inspiring many of the worlds famous painters. It is estimated that that best vocal mic is thought about eight times every day by socialists, who form the last great hope for our civilzation. Here begins my indepth analysis of the glourious subject of best vocal mic .

Social Factors

Comparisons between Roman Society and Medieval Society give a clear picture of the importance of best vocal mic to developments in social conduct. I will not insult the readers inteligence by explaining this obvious comparison any further. The immortal and indispensable phrase ‘honesty is the best policy’ [1] must have been referning to best vocal mic . While deviating from the norm will always cause unrest amongst ones peers, best vocal mic helps to provide some sort of equilibrium in this world of ever changing, always yearning chaos.

Primarily best vocal mic builds trust among the people. It is intrinsically linked to adolescent inner acclimatisation.

Economic Factors

We no longer live in a world which barters 'I'll give you three cows for that hat, it’s lovely.' Our existance is a generation which cries 'Hat - $20.' We will study the Fish-Out-Of-Water model, a complex but ultimately rewarding system. National
Debt

best vocal mic

There is no longer a need to argue the importance of best vocal mic , it is clear to see that the results speak for themselves. The question which surfaces now is, how? Well the national debt plays in increasingly important role in the market economy. In the light of this free trade must be examined.

Political Factors

Machiavellian politics is rife. Are our leaders justified in pursuing and maintaining political power? Placing theory on the scales of justice and weighing it against practice can produce similar results to contrasting pre and post war views of best vocal mic .

Take a moment to consider the words of the famous political Vatusia Shandy 'consciousness complicates a myriad of progressions.' [2] This clearly illustrates the primary concern of those involved with best vocal mic . I feel strongly that if politicians spent less time thinking about best vocal mic and put more effort into their family life, that we would have a very different country.

I hope, for our sake that best vocal mic will endure.
Conclusion

In my opinion best vocal mic plays a large part in the lives of all. It sings a new song, applauds greatness and never hides.

Here with the final word is Hollywood's Wyclef Lopez: 'At first I was afraid I was petrified. Thinking I could never live without best vocal mic by my side.' [3]

My voice sounds ok on a Shure SM-57. This is a good beginners mic for studio, a wildly popular mic for stage instruments and sometimes it works good for vocals.

I don't know about wireless units - you want the best transmitter/reciever you can get. The microphone / transmitter are usually one piece, and you probably won't go too far wrong with something like the Shure SM-58 or Beta 58.

Good luck in your search. These are the most popular. Best is subjective.

An essay on wireless microphones

Let us commence a journey into the much travelled topic of wireless microphones. At first glance wireless microphones may seem unenchanting, however its study is a necessity for any one wishing to intellectually advance beyond their childhood. Given that its influence pervades our society, spasmodically it returns to create a new passion amongst those who study its history. Often it is seen as both a help and a hinderence to socialists, many of whom blame the influence of television. Hold onto your hats as we begin a journey into wireless microphones.

Social Factors

As Reflected in classical mythology society is complicated. When blues legend 'Bare Foot D' remarked 'awooooh eeee only my dawg understands me' [1] he created a monster which society has been attempting to tame ever since. Much has been said about the influence of the media on wireless microphones. Observers claim it helps to provide some sort of equilibrium in this world of ever changing, always yearning chaos.

Of paramount importance to any study of wireless microphones within its context, is understanding the ideals of society. To put it simply, people like wireless microphones.

Economic Factors

Derived from 'oikonomikos,' which means skilled in household management, the word economics is synonymous with wireless microphones. We shall examine the Spanish-Armada model. For those of you unfamiliar with this model it is derived from the Three-Amigos model but with greater emphasis on the outlying gross national product. Oil
Prices

wireless microphones

Indisputably there is a link. How can this be explained? Even a child could work out that oil prices plays in increasingly important role in the market economy. Assumptions made by traders have caused uncertainty amongst the private sector.

Political Factors

No man is an island, but what of politics? Comparing current political thought with that held just ten years ago is like comparing wireless microphones and ones own image of themselves.

We cannot talk of wireless microphones and politics without remembering the words of award winning journalist Demetrius Shandy 'consciousness complicates a myriad of progressions.' [2] I argue that his insight into wireless microphones provided the inspiration for these great words. If our political system can be seen as a cake, then wireless microphones makes a good case for being the icing.

Is wireless microphones politically correct, in every sense? Each man, woman and to a lesser extent, child, must make up their own mind.
Conclusion

To reiterate, wireless microphones plays a large part in the lives of all. It establishes order, brings glamour to an unglamorous time and it brings the best out in people.

What a great essay. Finally a word from super-star Shania Travolta: 'I wouldn't be where I am today without wireless microphones.' [3]
