germ, it's a very nice dynamic mike-smoother and clearer than a Shure SM58 (not necessarily "better"-depends on your voice).
You may also want to check out the EV Cobalt C09 in the same price
range that has a higher end response than the E835 and the SM58.
As my mike technique is improving, I'm liking the C09 more and more!
It's even crisper sounding than the e835 I have.
