Samson GO MIC USB Condenser static or interference HELP!

Hi,

Newbie here with a Samson Go Mic that I purchased to do some voice overs for some character animations.

Plugged it in the other day and I got some really crackly interference or static. I changed it to a different USB port and the noise went and my recordings were great.

Just got a desktop mic stand and pop filter today and unplugged the mic so I could set it up on the stand. Plugged it back in and the static/interference is back!

Any ideas?

Hi Oliver, that's exactly the problem I have too, on both windows XP and windows 7.

How exactly did you uninstall the driver? I have struggled for weeks to get this microphone to work... It would be great if you could help.

wow, i have the exact same problem! same noise really... gonna have to figure out how to uninstall the audio drivers
