Well,
I accidently hit one of my Oktava MK012 overhead mics while playing drums . I noticed the tip of the capsule is kinda bent inward where I hit it. You can easily see this when looking at it from the top, since the screen on the capsule is slightly mushed together compared to the rest of the uniform pattern. Did this completely screw up my sound because it still sounds okay to me, but I'm not recording through good monitors either . My question = do I need a replacement cardoid capsule?
