mxl v67g o v69 Me: which is better??

well they are both nice and I know that a *tube* circuit is very appealing but the 69 is a cardioid-only pattern and utilizes a 12AT7 tube.
Now the tube can always be swapped out but for the money that you would spend on the 69 would be better spent towards a used tube microphone that would offer the nine polar pattern positions ..... not to mention that a high pass filter and a db pad are often very helpful and not present on the 69.
Check THIS out ~ it's the Apex 460 tube microphone for about the same money, New.
