Check out http://www.mixmag.com for reviews of the mics. They are on the leftside. The man reviewing the SP mics is the guy who wrote the "roll you own" article on proRec.com. Both mics get a thumbs up in the mag. I am too cheap to buy the mag, so I just read it online.
