which mic is suited to X use

So I currently own a Shure SM58 (dynamic) mic and a Audio Technica 2020 (XLR Phantom power condenser) Both are very good mics, but which mic is best suited to which area?

I mostly use the Shure for recording guitar (accoustic and electric) and singing into but I also find the at2020 to be good at these too... so which one would you use for music and which one would you use for speaking into and podcasting etc?

*both run though a beringer 1204 desk and into mixcraft or audacity though usb
 
Both can be used for your purposes, it just depends on what you want the end result to sound like. You will find the 2020 to have greater detail but be a bit harsh in the upper frequencys (not too bad) the 58 is a more general purpose mic without the refined detail of the 2020. If I had to choose just one for all of your stated uses it would be the 2020.
