    Audio-Technica ATH-M30 Headphones
    Tascam US-144 Audio Interface

Okay, so I am not getting any signal when recording in Cool Edit Pro 2.1. However I am able to record with Audacity. I am wondering how can I set up my microphone so it can get a signal in Cool Edit Pro. Thanks.

options >>> device properties >>> wave in >>> change it from wavemapper to the us 144. that should do it.
ITS NOT WHAT YOU HAVE, BUT WHAT YOU DO WITH WHAT YOU HAVE.

Why would you want to use an antique program like that? I am surprised it even runs on Win7. Perhaps you should move into the twenty-first century with the rest of us. Then we can help you better.

(Also, this question might have fit better into the Cool Edit forum.)

    Not a slam, just sayin...

I already have the wave-in on the Tascam US 144....still no signal. Any more suggestions?
