Only done one song with it.

Stuck it through a Universal Audio LA-610
https://www.box.com/s/1f37265c188a6a76f945

Put it near the soundhole on the guitar, a tiny bit of subtractive EQing around 100Hz solved any boominess.
Still sounds huge and rich.

This is the whole song:
John Irvine - Believe Me by PaddyGordonProductions on SoundCloud - Create, record and share your sounds for free (Warning: The vocals haven't been De-Essed!)

Recorded vocals with a Neumann TLM 102 through the LA-610.
and the other mic on the guitar was through my Focusrite Liquid Saffire set to emulate an LA-610.

Dying to try the ribbon on a 'shrill' vocal though to smoothen it out. I reckon John (the singer) would've sounded dark had I used the X1R (Didn't have time to try both).

Recording a band tomorrow though so I'll try it on their vocals and see how I get on and post the results!

But yeah, for £150 I'm very impressed!

Glad you like your new sE Ribbon Mic!
I've been a friend and fan of sE for awhile and own 7 of their mics so far as well as the Pro Reflexion Filter.
You can the mics on my website if you care to.
Keep On Recording!
