How to Connect SHURU SV200 to Laptop or Desktop

Dear friends

I purchased Shuru sv200 microphone from Amazon yesterday, i got converter too. But when i tried to connect it to laptop or desktop its not working means audio is not coming out. What exactly do i require to overcome this problem and record my voice ? When i asked shop that guy told i need to buy an amplifier and when i searched on net some one explained with USB sound card, am confused please anybody can solve my problem ?

What you need is a 'USB audio interface' with microphone preamp built in.
They generally have phantom power, headphone outputs, speaker outputs.....Everything you need (to start) in one box.

There are stacks out there. Two channels would suffice unless you intend to expand and record several sources at once.
NI KA6 and Tascam US 2x2 are examples.


When you're searching, use the term 'audio interface', not mixer/soundcard/amplifier/preamplifier. These are all different things. ;)
