First decent mic

Talked the wife into letting me get a mic last night, opted for the AKG c214

Plugged it into my Allen and Health ZED 10-fx in channel 2 and my AT2035 into channel 1 to see the difference and it really is night and day. I don't have a large array of mics yet so everytime I buy one and hear the difference I'm in shock

Looking forward to trying out the new mic with different vocals and instruments.

Just do what I do and when your bride notices a new microphone just say .....

hahha thankfully I'm smart enough to take her shopping often, so when I turn around and go "well we're in pittsburgh with the music stores, maybe I could go look at some stuff" and she's just dropped a grand clothes shopping lol.. All she can do is go "oh sure lets go"
