CAD GXL1200 2200 etc

Does anyone have any experience with the CAD GXL series of condenser mics?

GXL1200
GXL2200
GXL2400

It's hard to buy a mic without hearing it and I was wondering if anyone owns any of these and if you like them and what you use them for. No one around me seems to carry them in store.

The 1200 is a decent, but not great, alternative to other <100 SDCs out there (ie. the 603s, SC-1). Used to own them, and currently stick with my 603s (and I should have some GT-33s on the way!)

The 2200 (at least the one I used) was bad. Brittly. Terrible high-end and bad noise. Other people have complained about it.

The 2400 is solidly in the good camp. Can easily be compared to the v67 or SP B1 in terms of quality of sound...which is only appropriate considering its price.

I remember someone this past year posted some clips of the 2400, comparing it with other LDCs and it was a very good showing, if I remember correctly.
 
i have a handful of GXL1200's i got off ebay for cheap

you can find them 2 for $80 etc.

they have pretty damn flat freq. responce.

they work good, IMHO, but there are better out there, but not many compete in that price range.
