The AT4060 - KSM44

I'm about to purchase the KSM44 (I love that mic!!)

However, I've always been a fan of Audio Technica and have many of them. Question, does anybody have any experience with the AT4060? It's a ribbon, I know, but hell or high water I'm getting myself one or the other for Christmas. As I said I love the ksm44, however.. the AT4060..?

The AT4060 is not a ribbon. I think you mean a AT4080 or AT4081.

Mind you if you are thinking Ribbon, the Rode NTR?

Thank for clearing that up, Alan. I don't know why I thought the 4060 was a ribbon not a tube. Tried one out today (used), very nice.

well which one did you go with?
i get urges to buy the KSM44 but have the 27 already for $150 used.
