Hei there! Well i bought the at2020 with some things.
the plan is:
Mic
xlr to xlr cable
phantom 48v power supply
and than xlr to 3.5mm strait to the motherboard, which is h81m-dv2, which has realtek 7.1 so i thought it may be good.

1. Will this even work?

2. How can i make it better?

3. Is there any need to buy a sound card or an interface?

Thank you very much, and hope you all have the best day EVER ;P

Someone told me it needed so the at2020 will work isnt it? or the power supply is built in in the interface or something?

Virtually all recording interfaces that have XLR mic inputs will provide phantom power. There are one or two that don't, so read the specs to be sure.

Do not get a 'USB mixer'. While some sellers will call a USB mixer an interface, it will lack some features and capabilities a 'USB interface' will have.

Don't forget to get a 'pop filter' and a decent mic stand.

A USB interface may typically look like one of these below....

Suss out Musicians Friend, their shipping to Australia is way cheaper then other on line shops. See what they can do? LINK

Alan.

Huh. Not useful if he lives in Israel, i think.

How Cheap, OP?

I buy from Musicians friend and I am in Australia, they have international sales available. The freight price to Australia is reasonable. He can give it a try?

Alan.
