Anyone ever seen an all-black MD441?

Ok, I found some info on the black ones on rap... they do seem to be around a 1989 issue that was of limited run. I like the look better I think, looks way less 1970-ish looking.
 
I've seen them on e-bay before. There's one there right now. I've never seen any info at the Sennheiser site either German or American on the black ones.

The black models that I have seen do not look like they have the bass roll-off switch. They made an MD-441-2 without that feature. It was used mostly for European broadcast. It also has the four-pin Tuchel screw on connector.

It might just be the angle of the photo and the fact that it's black plays trick on my eyes.

I think they're cool looking. They did the same thing with the MD-431 dynamic stage mic a few years back. That one really looks better black.

That IS the one that I had been watching. I didn't bid on it.

Post here when you get it and let me know if it has the roll-off switch. It sure doesn't look like it from the photo.
