Sure. Put it on a stand and plug it into a mixing board. Works for me every time.

Well the baby Blue Bottle is just awesome in many, MANY applications, and for the money, in my humble opinion is the best thing going for the price. You will need a couple of shures a SM57 (close miking guitar cabs) and a SM58 vocals and overall coverage, from there your ears canb decide what you really like best

Buy one that works. Hopefully you find that out before forking over your cash.
Beyond that a little more info would help. Budget? Source? Otherwise buy a pearlman, neumann, and whatever other mics that start off expensive and keep going until you've passed on buying a couple of automobiles in favor of a single mic.
