10/25: MXL V76T tube mic deal

They seem to be a standard @ FullCompass. Some people just don't like MXL, and prejudice dies hard. I have had a V67G for two or so years and it's brilliant to my ears: I'd love to hear a tube from them. Report back, please?

Yeah, I noticed that the deal seems to be hanging around there. I resisted my GAS on this one because my recent acquisitions have been real and virtual instruments and DMX lighting---and Christmas presents. I do have an MXL 960, which is smooth and responsive with respectable noise specs and, yeah, I also like my V67g (and 9090 mics, which are cosmetically plain-Jane versions of the V67i).
