Workflow Slowdown

I have a Korg TR-Rack and, as some of you may know, it uses a lackluster method to hunt down patches. I've linked it to my DAW using software, but the latency between me turning the knob and the patch changing on the rack is pretty slow. On top of that, you don't really know which patch when the rack is in performance mode. I've tried importing these patch names into FL Studio and and Cubase Elements 7 with no luck. Librarian software is kind of a pain to set up. Should I just trade in and go with a better rack or workstation? I like to keep things mid-heavy until i find what I'm looking for. The way I'm doing it now, it's faster to just record audio from the rack in takes until i get what I want. Any suggestions would be helpful.

My setup:
Presonus Audiobox USB
KRK Rockit 5's
Korg TR-Rack
Alesis Q49 controller
M-Audio Trigger-Finger
FL Studio 11
Cubase Elements 7
