I remember back when Yamaha and Alesis made MIDI data filers that could take a sysex bulk dump and store it onto a floppy. I've been looking for something similar with more recent technology that might use a flash memory card for storage of bulk patch dumps, but haven't found anything. I can do this easily from a PC, but there are times and places I'd prefer something more portable.
Anyone seen anything like this at a reasonable price?

Note: I did buy an Alesis DataDisk off ebay this week, but am a bit skeptical because of its age whether it will work OK or not.
