Okay so no one here has ever heard of a Neko XXL by Open Labs? These outdo everyone. Well, I'm not sure about all their models but the Neko XXL by OpenLabs is the ONE. It's the only thing any producer needs. First of all, if you want proof look it up and see the reactions of producers who actually have one, not people talking crap about something they have never used, and only go by what they heard or read. Similar to the Neko's and Meko's of the past, but this is our last stop and here's why...
(This is only what I know about the Neko XXL)
--First of all, this baby has Twelve-Thousand PROFESSIONAL INDUSTRY sounds all ready to go.....Okay?
--15 inches of pure touchscreen pc located smack dab in the middle of the console(above the keyboard)
--Only a 61-Key version exists(potential thumbs down there, but don't misunderstand, this is a big bitch)
--I believe it comes with 200 vst's as well as compressors and ProTools in it or something like that. Believe me it's in there already, you won't need any other software if your a computer recorder. This is what the pros are using TODAY
--The best part is that it comes with a program called mimik which can read any keyboard type sound. This means that all those keyboards you love so much can all be stored inside this. And there is WAY TOO MUCH SPACE. You couldn't add enough keyboards to fill this thing up.
--6 usb imputs
--DVD-RW (what?!)
--Drum Pads
--QWERTY Keyboard(not a mini or a small one. Just the the original Neko and Meko)
-- EQ Faders and knobs on seperate sides
So you have 61 Keys...Above that a 15" Touch Screen LOADED with everything the TOP PRODUCERS use...To the bottom left is a QWERTY Keyboard and to the Bottom right are Drum Pads like MPC or Roland....Top Right are the knobs and tweaks section and top left is the fader sec......So Buy One and take ur MO's ur ES's,XS's and XF's , throw both your Fantom's in there, Your Kurweil's, Your Korg Tritons...add more of everything: from vst's to programs that u dont have....With this you are set....But don't sell your keyboards till u get it....then u can get rid of all the physical models and keep them within this Baby....
Oh and Get ready to spend about 7-8 thousand dollars for one of these. But they really are worth it. This is true, its every keboardist, producer's dream to have something like this. What else could u need or want after something so ready for the future is in front of u...Doubt youll find a used one. Ebay has one. But its Goldplated and was used as a promo tool for promoting Polow Da Don(Produced a lot of hits in recent years. look him up, youve heard his stuff on the radio for sure)...
So do urself a favor look this baby up first. Then comeback and hammer me with comments...
