-MPC 2500 (main sequencer for time sig & tempo)
-Axiom 61 (main keyboard for my modules)
- jp 8080 rack (i want to sync the 8080's arpeggiator to the MPC)
- access virus b rack (also want to sync the virus arpeggiator to the MPC)
rather than just recording the notes & their velocity into the MPC sequencer, I'd also like to be able to record control features such as filter sweeps, real-time modulation and have the modules arpeggiator's synced to the MPC.
My question is would I be better off getting a MIDI Merger (Quadra Merge) or something like a MOTU Micro or Timepiece?
The main thing is having the arpeggiator's synced to the MPC, but I'd like all available MIDI from the modules to be recorded into the MPC.
