m-Audio Axiom 25

I just received my used Axiom 25 in the mail (it's a midi controller keyboard). it came with the unit and the USB cable, nothing else (driver CD and software CD are missing). so i download and install the driver and connect the keyboard... no worky!!

am I missing something? I turn the power on, and it says on the bottom right hand corner "USB Device not Recognized"

what am I doing wrong?

or did this bastard sell me a non-functioning damaged piece of junk

I have the Axiom 49 and as soon as I install the driver it pops up in Windows as being connected.

Make sure you have it connect correctly on the back and your USB cable is working. That's about all I can suggest.
