Settle an arguement - Les Paul Specials

Does anyone know of any Les Paul Specials that are/were not flat-tops?

I've never seen one that I recall.

I wasn't seeking an argument. I was merely looking for facts to either prove or disprove my opinion.

I had one back in the 70's/80's. Flat top. I look on ebay all the time for them and all the specials are flattop.

Yeah, I had one until a few months ago, and I've still got a couple of Epi Specials, all flat.

Some guy was advertising his Epi LP as a Special, when in was clearly a carved top.
