hey everybody this is gomez the newbie. i play polyrhythmic melodious garage noise on anolog. everything except my rig was stolen three days ago.
now this brokenhearted cat needs a way to record into his old 600 meg cpu via the mic input of my soundblaster. possible? cheap recording software with amp modeling? how about freeware even or demos? I was suckerpunched by this whilst broke. thanx

Bummer man. Sorry to hear about that. You say you still have an amp modeler? If so, you might try running from the modeler to the Line In on your Soundblaster. I've used the Mic In on a Soundblaster for recording and it didn't sound very good.

Good luck!

Sorry to hear that...

N-tracks has a trial version, and the actual version is only like $35 or so.
It's pretty user friendly, and cheap!

give the trial a whirl...

Usually, you know the guy/gal who did it. You don't know you know them, but you usually know them. That's what really blows.

checkout Goldwave: http://www.goldwave.com

Also, I would put a couple of bucks down for a little behringer mixer, UB802 maybe. You can get them for around $50 and the pre's will benefit you going into the system.
