Hello, I hope this is the correct place to put this thread, but I'm having an issue with noise that appears to only be introduced when the high band of the EQ on my bass is enabled at all.
I have a Yamaha TRBX505 bass which is fairly new (maybe one year old?). I'm not sure if this issue existed when I got the bass originally, but when all three EQ bands are set at their center positions, a large amount of high frequency noise comes through the amp. Upon turning the high band all the way down, the noise ceases to exist, but even turning it back up slightly reintroduces the noise.
Is this an issue with the soldering on the bass? Thought I'd try to get some other input before I try anything since I'm quite a noob when it comes to messing with components.
Thanks.
