Ibanez RG350DXWH, 2000 model.
Ibanez PR1660, 1985 NAMM Custom
Ibanez Roadstar 2, 198? Customized highly by John Steffan
Fender Acoustic Electric Dreadnaught...1996 model??
Ibanez acoustic....broken...needs work...196?
Harmony Stella classical...1974
Dean 4 string Bass, Edge 09...

The custom work on the RoadStar 2 cost more than all the other guitars combined...My main axe is the RG.

Peace,
Dennis

9 electrics (one is on loan to a relative)
1 acoustic
2 basses

I like 'em all....they all have their place, but I do have favorites....gibs

I only have two. but, i like them both a lot. I have had a few others over the years....but ended up selling them etc. in search of stuff that I really liked. Now I have an American Strat, and a Taylor K14CE(opted to not go with the (e)lectric pickup...so its really just k14c)

Word to anyone reading this just getting into buying - be careful what you sell. When I got my american strat, I figured I would sell my mexican. It was a great mexican...circa 1997, pretty placid lake blue...stayed in tune pretty well...neck felt nice etc. I GAVE that thing away to mars for a quick buck (105 quick bucks, to be exact). But, if I could buy it back for 105...I'd be tempted. It was a good guitar...and I should not have sold it.

Well, I have a few pics of my babies - so if anyone wants to have a look, have a look

Damn. Only seven:

- ESP Custom
- ESP MIII
- Fender Stratocaster
- Ibanez RG550
- Heartfield EX
- Yamaha Acoustic
- Ibanez 5-string Bass

These threads are fun because everyone always loves wankin about the gear they own.

I've sold like 2/3 of my guitars in the past few months.
Whats left:

Fender Deluxe Powerhouse Strat
Fender Strat (beat up first guitar)
PRS CE22
Fender Jazz bass
Fender P-Bass (mexico)
Fender CLassical (Korea)
Martin DM

Thats all now! It works for the moment.

What I've sold in past 12 months or so: :(
Parker Fly Deluxe
Parker P-38
Gibson Les Paul Deluxe
DeArmond S73
Gibson J180
Epiphone Dot
2 Epi Les Pauls
Bentley 12 string acoustic
Fender Tex Mex Tele
Fender Tele Plus

That's what happens when you do music full-time, rather than a hobby!

I second that emotion, wes480. The best guitar I ever had was my first, a Washburn A-5 (think Carlos Cavazo of Quiet Riot, esp. the videos). Even after a minor surgery to reattach a tuning peg that snapped off in a fall, it still was sweet sounding and a dream to play. In my youthful folly I sold it to a beginner — call it a moment of weakness. I wish I had it today :o

My current arsenal:
non-US strat w/bridge humbucker
Kramer 440 A (v-shape similar to Jackson Rhoads)
Washburn electric (can't remember model, just got it for Christmas :D )

H2H; have you hit some hard times or just being realistic (knowing you can only play one guitar at once (or is that two))?

I kinda' know how it feels (music as an occupation as opposed to a hobby). I had to sell one also this week (Casino (yeah and the casino too (and the yacht and golf club)),

now I'm down to 9.

Yes, it's been rough...I went from making $1000/week to about $100/week running a studio and writing. But it is finally right now paying off (with a new recording contract), and hopefully I'll be able to re-stock within a year or two:).

Fender-Tele
Guild-F45-CE
Gretch-Historic series dobro

I was stupid enough once to take $500 for a trade in on a mint Martin D-16.

(Kicks himself repeatedly for the 1000th time.)
