I've lost count, but here's the latest;

My name is Ivan and I`m a guitarholic

my record was 159 in one year.

Average around 8-12 at any one time.
Currently in divesting mode & down to 7 plus a double bass - plus 2 I have "lent" to my daughter.
I need professional help.......

And the neck on this guitar is ohhh so easy to play. It even sounds great through a PODxt.

Kind of a weird deal, though; Online shops in the US say this model is discontinued, yet the online German store that I usually deal with is supposed to be getting some in by the end of October. I'd had it on backorder since August, and got tired of waiting, so I went to a local shop, and there it was. I had to talk the price down considerably, and it ain't in new out of the box condition, having hung on a wall for months, but it is great. The combination of hollow body and P90s is really tasty.

Ok, one more:

So, I think the total is 12, now; 6 acoustics, and, now, 6 electrics.

And a bass.

Hagstrom Super Swede. Next guitar, sometime down the road, will quite possibly be another Hagstrom. Amazing guitar for the money. Pic doesn't do it justice.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

Let's see...
-1 Gibson "The Paul"
-1 Takamine acoustic-electric
-1 Schecter Stiletto Custom-4 (bass)
-1 Abilene acoustic from when I first started lessons
-1 apparently brandless nylon-stringed acoustic from some foreign country.

I would love to have a better acoustic and a better nylon-stringed acoustic, but that's really it. I never use the Abilene because it's not that great. I can see how different guitars would be useful for different sounds, but I can get most of those sounds after a little tweaking with the guitars I have, so I don't really see any point in owning more.

One Day...haha

For the moment I have two. All to gether through trade ins, and hard times I've had six. If I had my way I'd have a thousand. :D

I have a few...

So the herd at the moment is:

Guitars:
======
1996 MIM Strat (I have some vintage pickups I need to put in it)
2000-ish Danelectro 12
Line6 Variax 500
2002 American Strat with noiseless pups
1958 Gretsch model 6120
1974 Martin D-35
2004 Taylor 314
Seagull S6+ Folk model
Mid-80s Ovation acoustic (no electronics, no cutaway, and a VERY warped neck)

Basses:
======
Lakland 55-01
1987 Fender Jazz Special fretless (P-J with EMGs my brother installed)
Warwick Rockbass Corvette 5-string fretless
1994 MIM Fender Jazz
Jay Turser "Beatle" bass
1986 ESP 400-series Precision bass w/Jazz bridge pup added later

I also have a pretty nice fiddle my parents bought for me years ago, back when I was a serious classical student.

The USA Strat is the most fun electric to play. I'vebeen enjoying the Variax lately, though. The Martin is ... well, that guitar is magic.

The Gretsch is also magic, but it needs some TLC from a good luthier. I bought it in 1987 for $400 - but it had been "refinished" by an amateur. That one doesn't really leave the house much any more - it's a little too fragile. A shame too - it's a great guitar.

I own 3

My pride and joy - Taylor 314ce Acoustic

A 30 year old Ibanez worth about .01 cents

And a Jackson MG series (I belive thats what it is :S)

One of these days...

I'll need to take a family photo, but my rundown is as follows:
'91 Gibson Les Paul Studio
'01 Gibson ES 135
'08 Epiphone ES 175 Re-Issue (say what you will but she's beautiful)
'07 PRS Custom SE
'86 Fender Japanese Squire Stratocaster (REALLY nice for a Squire)
'08 Fender American Standard Stratocaster (my most recent aquisition)
'88 Epiphone Tele (yes, Epi and it sounds great)
Parkwood H2 Hybrid ('07 I think)
'92 Epiphone PR 6E Acoustic Electric
'07 Ovation 12 string AE
'98 Washburn Mandolin
'01 Martin Backpacker
and of course my first guitar (that no longer plays) a Targa Stratocaster Copy (circa about 1975??)...
LOTS 'O' keyboards too...

Lucky Man

I had a Gibson SG. Brown woodgrain standard which sung like a bird because it was outfitted with 2 DiMarzio pickups. I could kick myself for ever getting rid of that axe. What a beauty it was.

Number 13;

Ibanez Artcore AF75. Bought on clearance. Getting a proper setup, will get it back Tuesday.

Number 14;

MIM Candy Apple Red Standard Tele. Very nice for the money. I had bought an expensive Artcore, but that didn't work out, the shop doesn't do refunds, so I ended up with two guitars instead of one. That's ok, 13 is an unlucky number anyways....

Update --

1969 Martin 0-16NY (set up with Thomastik-Infeld Plectrum strings)
1965 Martin D-28 (really clean shape with booming bass)
1961 Martin 0-18 (an absolutely great recording guitar)
1930's Martin 2-17 (Martin's first guitar built for steel strings - twangy)
1966 Gibson J-45 (PUTW in this one)
1966 Gibson B-25 (essentially a small bodied J-45 - records real well - I have a Sunrise in this one)
2003 Leach Cremona (OM size)
Yamaha FG-450S (surprisingly good D-28 knockoff)
LaSiDo Ami (parlor size guitar - a campfire beater - but it's BLUE!)
1983 Les Paul Standard (paid $300 for this one out of the newspaper - red metal flake - SD Antiquity Pickups and recapped so the tone pots actually work and the volume really rolls off)
1993 Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 (10 top with birds)
1967 Gibson Byrdland (short scale neck which is great since I have small hands - set up with flatwounds, but I still can't play jazz worth a damn)
1991 Godin Acousticaster (a complete impulse buy after seeing Roseanne Cash's band)
1976 Gibson ES-335TD (in dark red with a stop tail bridge. I have the Bigsby in the case, but I really don't care for those much anyway. Very rock and roll.)
2008 Blue Floral Telecaster Reissue - CIJ (Had the PUPs replaced with SD 5-2 and vintage units. Had the electronics reworked and recapped so the tone control actually works and the volume rolls off smoothly. Actually bought for my 13 year old daughter.)

Rick Turner RB-4 Bass (I'm deluding myself that I can actually play this effectively - but it's fun)

Gibson 1917 Style A mandolin
Gibson 1959 F-12 mandolin

Martin 50s T-15 Tiple (kind of like a 12 string uke)

Magnatone lap steel
(in mother-of-toilet-seat, of course)

Martin style 0M uke (2)
Martin style 1M uke
Martin style 2M uke
Martin style 3M uke
Gibson T-1 tenor uke
Gretsch uke
(looks better than it plays)
