Yeah, cool.

I'm basically satisfied with 6-strings or 12- on guitar, and 4-strings on bass. I haven't mastered that yet, so I'll stick with it.

Did I tell'ya,... I got another guitar? I think I did,... it was several weeks ago. It's a brown-sparkle-burst Danelectro Innuendo, 6-string electric w/built in effects. Damn, it's sweet. What a fine playin' & great lookin' guitar that is. It's my second Innuendo,... brown,... but my first one is blue.

I think I told'ya about that already. I don't know. I must be losin' it.

I lost count of how many guitars I own, but it's over 20 now.

Dang.

HAH!! Too true. I get confused by normal guitars now. BTW, how do you like that Universe? I want one of those so badly I could puke.

In my opinion this is the best electric 7 string guitar out there (I couldn't afford one brand new, so I ought it off of ebay) . It has the sound plus great looks (the uv777k does anyways pyrimid inlays, mirror pick guard). but then agian this is just my opinion, it has all the features I like for the music I do. Everyody is different.

I just got finished telling my brother this.
You can never own too many guitars.
Buy good guitars and take care of them. You can always get your moneys worth out of them and then some.

Fender 5 String Jazz bass
Rogue 5 string bass that I'm coverting to a fretless
I'm considering the purchase of a Carvin AC50F 5 string Fretless acoustic bass, anyone got input on this? I played a Carvin (breifly) in the early 80's it was a real thumper and weighed a ton.
BTW This got me thinking about how many guitars I've actually bought since I started in 1972 and after I the math I came up with 57! Shoulda kept about half of them.

my guitars

I have so many I forget what ones I have really, I really only play about 4 of them on a regular basis.

'89 strat is #1
'79 strat is #2 for live shows only
dobro for writing and recording
ovation 12 string for the same

Might as well make my first post about the guitars I own.

1997 Fender Strat (Mexican variety)
Early 90s Seagull acoustic (not sure of the model)
No name Cuban classical - purchased in Cuba last year, great sound.

Satch

Still only own 4, but GAS'ing for more!!! Maybe if I stopped spending so much on amps and effects, I would have more for other guitars. Not necessarily interested in owning more guitars for the sake of inventory, but would like to have one guitar for each type of tone I seek.

1970 Gibson J38 Accoustic
1994 Ovation Ultra Deluxe
2000 Fender 12-String
2003 Fender American Deluxe Strat

80/80 Kramer aluminum 8 string bass - one of the most powerfull and distinctive basses i have ever owned or played.
Mid 80's crap cort jazz bass I bought new that for some odd reason people think (including myself) sounds really good and better than a lot of other jazz basses. Its been strippped, shellac'd, and turned into a fretless.

Danelectro barritone - a great guitar for the price. everyone should have one

guitar-
hagstom 1 - one of those vintage types with the vinyl backs. these have one of the greatest necks ever put on a guitar !
solvertone - ancient cool guitar with a crap gold metal flake in brown finish w/ one lipstick pickup. I bought this at goodwill for $20 and its a great sounding guitar especailly w/ ebow!
a red fender strat copy that I paid $50 for that sounds pretty darn good that has been on loan at a friends house for years.
alverez 12 string aucustic - nice sounding cheap 12 string

out there a bit-
silvertone lap steel guitar - cool vintage piece thats good for doing tabletop treated guitar excursions
