Hey Track Rat,

If you would like, I could probably get an exact date on your 50's National.

Post some more info here and I'll take a look.

6.

'97 Standard Strat;
'81 Ibanez Studio;
'96 Takemine 12 string;
'01 Taylor 311;
Yamaha classical (bought off of some old guy for $100.00)
Yamaha bass.

All I need, really. I had a '98 Standard SG, but the fucker would never stay in tune, even with careful setup and new machineheads. I don't regret selling it. My old Ibanez does the humbucking sound well enough, and I've had it for 22 years. It don't look like much, but I like it.

I did have a Norman B-20 cutaway that I do regret selling. Thought it would be redundant once I bought the Taylor. Whoops....

:cool:

epiphone lespaul special two. and a squire acoustic. ooooooooooooooooooooooo ya. iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiim poor.

Nineteen or twenty, depending on how you want to count the ones in progress. But that is just my own guitars, the ones I am keeping for myself. We have another fifteen or so at the shop for sale, plus I keep my sister and mother's guitars here during the winter. Plus I will get my dad's guitar (the first one he built) when he dies (hopefully not for another thirty or forty years or so). All but one of them was built by either me or my father. Seven electrics, one bass, and the rest are acoustics’. The one factory guitar (which I never play anymore) is a Cort Stienberger licensed copy, with no headstock or body. The nice thing about the Cort is that I don't care about it, so when I was taking a guitar to classes, I did not have to worry about some prick poking my guitar with the pointy, phallic, headstock from his Ibanez.

I sold my Heritage Golden Eagle, so I no longer have an arch top. I miss that guitar.

Well, I've disposed of most of my disposable income on mics and pres, so the guitar collection is pared down to what I really need.
1. Fender highway one telecaster
2. Epiphone Les Paul (pickup upgrade underway)
3. Taylor 710CE (my bread and butter)
4. 1981 Epiphone PR725-S dreadnought (camping/travel giitar)
5.Epiphone Selena Signature C70CE cutaway classical (got this rather good classical cheap because it's girly)
6. Bruno V1587 classical (El Kabong)
7. Epiphone SG special (this is the expendable airplane travel axe- sounds much better with a pair of 57 classic humbuckers in it)
8. Ibanez ME daydripper (the backpack guitar)
9. Framus 12 string

I have to say, if I was running out of my burning house, I'd have the tele in one hand, and the Taylor in the other. If I had to drop one, I'd be holding the Taylor with both hands- Richie

danelectro u2
early '70s yamaha acoustic
realy old gibson bass looks like an es335
R.I.P. early '80s japan strat that I loved (til I broke it in half over my head, don't ask!)

I am going to start a guitar cyber begging site.

Alvarez Regent Accoustic (80's)

Fender Telecaster (67)
Fender Stratocaster (80's)
Gibson Les Paul Custom (80)

not enough

I have a lot (both guitars and basses) but I don't consider myself a collector as I usually figure I am going to bang them up good so I tend to buy on the cheap. Here is my best recollection.

1. Mephis short scale bass - my first POS bass, I traded it for half a bottle of vodka
2. Mako P-bass copy - set on fire and smashed in my back yard.
3. Washburn B2 - first "real" guitar. It gave out a couple of years ago and lays on the work bench in pieces
4. Jackson RR4 Randy Rhoads Flying V Guitar
5. Fender USA made Jazz Bass - stolen in 2001
6. Rickenbacker 4004 Cheyenne Bass
7. Gibson American Std SG - I put in a Tony Iommi Humbucker
8. BC Rich NJ Beast Bass
9. Jackson USA made Dinky w/ reverse headstock
10. Korean made Squire Strat - I glues pics of naked ladies all over it
11. Martin DM
12. Martin B1 acoustic bass
13. Ibenez Classical guitar
14. Martin Backpacker - POS novelty item
15. Roafbrand (homemade) washtub bass
