My band is working on a project and I am trying to get the best possible guitar tones. I have a line 6 Flextone XL amp and I tried using the line outs for recording but it sounded pretty muddy. Here is a sample of what I got using two microphones.
Please check it out and let me know what you think. I would love specific comments on what you like, or what could be better. Thanks.

I did not have good results with the direct outs on that particular amp. What is you entire post-amp signal chain? That will help us diagnose.
