Interesting thread topic.
Had no idea GC was so f-ed up.
It does make sense…….
The other day a friend told me about a yellow Van Halen Charvel at my local GC. When I got there it was hanging on the wall. The maple neck was absolute filthy, I’m not talking normal grime, but more like someone used it to wipe their arise.
I asked the kid if he could get someone to at least clean it before I touched it, I mean it was nasty.
As I was leaving they stopped me at the door and asked me why I was leaving….. I told them I’d rather pay more for one at a mom & pop store down the road; than to give any money to a business that doesn’t take pride in making their customers happy or the condition of their products.
As far as I’m concerned, I hope GC goes under, greedy companies that don’t care about employees or customer service shouldn’t be in the music business.
