The time has finally arrived for me to clear out the workshop after 15 years in the same space as my house/workshop move looks like it's going ahead. I have a lot of junk lots of it. Some of it even I don't know what it is....

We all have stuff going back years so lets see it.

I'll go first....

lol... good spot. Now put a name to it... I'm damned if I can and I see a lot of guitars. don't even remember where this came from....

That's the guitar that you were going to complete and generously donate to a forum member here, right?

I thought it was an ES-345 body but there's no hole for the rotary selector knob. Closer to an ES-335 but the knob spacing isn't quite right.

Epiphone Casino, maybe?

Its an all ply construction and it has a single block under the bridge area. The construction is OK and I'm thinking 70's but other than that....?

Casino's generally have the dog ear thing going on and this has no room for mounting... I think it definitely casino inspired...

---------- Update ----------

Not all casino's had the rotary BTW....

Here is an EPI casino that would be close but no cigar... The horns are wrong and the dog ear thing.. also the bridge posts? Mine obviously had a floating bridge?

Definitely not a 330....

Back in the early 90's I had an old 1973 ARIA that looked like that. Bolt on neck, tailpiece and floating bridge. Made in Japan. Nice guitar but a bastard to keep in tune. If I remember right it had a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard.

Gave it to a Macmillan raffle in the end. :thumbs up:

Must have been the one you were going to send to me to see if I could do anything with it. You said you were tired of looking at it.

I still have one of my first electrics and it looks quite like one of them. Got it in 1966, It looks like a 'Strad-O-Lin' guitar. They made them with 2 and 3 pickup models. It's the stain, the colors of the burst. Not Gibson or Epi. I'd post a pic right now but I'm home and it's in the building I rent for my studio/rehearsal/storage spot.

It looks like a Matsumoku factory body from mid 70s - Woolworth/Bruno/Teisco/Guyatone/Univox type stuff.
The sunburst is very similar & they usually were ID'd by an MIJ stamp on the neck bolt plate.
It also looks VERY similar to a thinline Emperador Bass I have.

I recon its a copy by brand called Artist (not very original). A mate of mine used to have one.
