Good bass rig for $1500

Hi guys I was looking around trying to find a nice bass setup (head & cabinets) for under or around $1500, but had no luck.

I wonder if you guys could give me a sugestion as to what to get.

I am looking for 1 4x10 cabinet and 1 1x15 cabinet, and maybe a bi-amped head so I can run low signal to 15 and high/mid to the 10's.

Have you tried the Gallien-Kruger stuff? My bass player just bought a similar setup, and I'm sure he didn't spend more than that on it. Their stuff sounds great, too.

Yeah; for that money you should be able to get yourself a nice setup. Though I may not be able to offer specifics; if you know what you want (eventually) try and look out for some second hand gear. You'll have an even nice setup then (considering your experienced enough to begin with that is).
